The Scandinavian International Olive Oil Competition (SIOOC) is an innovative concept conceived by Biotech & Process Engineer R. Chouket, designed to invigorate the competition across multiple Scandinavian participating countries. Each year, this prestigious event announces its results in one of the capitals of these nations. This approach strategically avoids monotony, as hosting the competition in the same country every year can be less engaging.
The world of extra virgin olive oils is characterized by intense competition, aimed at achieving the highest standards and exceptional quality. International competitions have emerged as a platform for producers to showcase their products, encourage participation, and inspire the elevation of olive oil excellence. As part of this mission, we are excited to introduce a competition that encompasses the entirety of Scandinavian countries.
You can market your products to clients and businesses of all participating countries. Scandinavian Olive Oil Competitions provide a unique platform for you to extend your business's global reach.
We will announce the results by inviting many businesses and individuals who work in the sector or are generally interested in olive oil from a business perspective, especially: suppliers, famous chefs and representatives of chains of hotels and restaurants.
You will be able to provide people with your brand information: by promoting a brand influencer story for people to remember and share, for example. Announcing the brand name of the company and its products.
Your olive oil will undergo thorough evaluation by our international panel of expert connoisseurs, providing valuable feedback and potential for awards.
You can stay in touch or keep up to date with your competitors and their own updates, innovations and news.
Our experts will be completely ready to inform you as a participant about the properties of the oils preferrable to the host country’s people and market, which will help you better target the segment you want to market your product to.
The market you can target through your participation with us is the largest ever, the one growing the most demographically and economically.
By competing with other oils you will better understand what options competitors in other countries have taken – in terms of production or packaging and design, for example.
You can effectively manage the reputation of your products via the media – by organizing press conferences or using social media.
A database is created with all presently available and unavailable customers, in order to facilitate the task of searching for them, knowing their needs, and increasing the percentage of sales.
Healthy competition is a following category after the quality competition ( the second phase) which means you cannot choose the healthy competition if your product is not registered in the first phase which is the Quality Competition. Oils will be evaluated by organoleptics and chemicals analysis.
In the past years, many developments have appeared in the food and beverage industry, olive oil has been included in that industry as well, infused olive oil now is found with some flavors such as garlic, chili, lemon, truffle, ripe fruits. Infused olive oils will be evaluated just by organoleptics analysis.
